Cookie Policy

Last updated: 7 October 2026.

1. What cookies and similar storage are

Cookies are small text files a website saves in your browser. Similar technologies such as localStorage and sessionStorage work in much the same way. They help the website work, remember some settings and measure usage.

Because online identifiers may be personal data under Egypt's Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020, we explain transparently what we use and why.

2. What we currently use

We keep these technologies to a minimum. The website currently uses:

  • Strictly necessary technologies: such as security and load-balancing cookies that our hosting provider and content delivery network may set, and the admin login session cookie (our team only). The website cannot work properly without them, so they do not require prior consent.
  • Anonymous visitor ID (moseo_vid): a random number kept in your browser's localStorage, containing no name, email or IP address. We use it to count visits internally and learn which pages are most useful. It stays until you clear it from your browser.
  • First landing page (moseo_landing): kept in sessionStorage to record which page your visit started on and where it came from. It is deleted automatically when you close the browser or tab.

3. What we do not use

The website does not currently use advertising cookies or third-party trackers such as Meta Pixel, Google Ads or LinkedIn Insight Tag, and we do not sell browsing data. Our analytics are first-party and aggregated, and any IP address is stored only as a one-way hash.

4. If we add new tools

If we decide to use third-party analytics or advertising tools in the future, we will update this policy first, and will not enable any non-essential cookies until you consent through a clear banner that lets you accept or reject easily, with the option to withdraw consent at any time.

5. How to control these technologies

  • You can delete or block cookies and site data from your browser settings (usually under Privacy and Security, then Site Data).
  • You can use private browsing, which deletes the data automatically when closed.
  • Deleting or blocking the anonymous ID does not stop you using the website, but blocking necessary cookies may affect some parts.

6. Relation to the Privacy Policy

This policy should be read with our Privacy Policy, which explains your data rights and how to exercise them, and our Terms & Conditions.

7. Updates and contact

We may update this policy when the technologies we use change; the last-updated date appears at the top of the page. For any question, email hello@moseo01.com.
