Privacy Policy
Last updated: 7 October 2026.
1. Introduction and scope
This policy explains how MOSEO01 ("we" or "MOSEO01") handles the personal data of visitors to moseo01.com, users of its tools and prospective clients.
We process data in accordance with Egypt's Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020 and its Executive Regulations, and other applicable Egyptian laws. We act as the "controller" of the data collected through this website.
By using the website or submitting its forms, you confirm that you have read this policy. Where the law requires your explicit consent, we ask for it separately and clearly before processing.
2. Data we collect
We collect only the minimum data needed for each stated purpose:
- Data you provide: when you fill in the consultation or contact form: name, work email, phone number, company name, website, service of interest, approximate budget, goal and your message.
- Free tool unlock data: when you request a full report from tools such as the site checker or keyword volume: name, website, job role, email and phone, plus what you entered in the tool (such as a URL or keyword).
- Technical browsing data: pages visited, referring page, campaign parameters (UTM), device and browser type, approximate country inferred from the network, and an anonymous random visitor ID stored in your browser.
- IP address: we do not store your raw IP address; we keep only a one-way hash of it for abuse protection and rate limiting.
- Your correspondence: by email, WhatsApp or phone, if you contact us that way.
3. Data we do not collect
- We do not collect sensitive personal data as defined by law (such as health, biometric, religious or political data, or children's data). Please do not include it in messages.
- We do not collect payment card or bank details through the website.
- We do not sell or rent your personal data to anyone.
4. Purposes and legal basis
We process your data for specific, legitimate and stated purposes, on the bases the law recognises:
- Responding to your request and preparing a consultation or quote: based on your consent when you submit the form, and to take pre-contract steps at your request.
- Performing a contract: if you become a client, we process the data needed to deliver the agreed services and issue invoices.
- Improving and measuring the website: through aggregated first-party analytics not aimed at identifying you.
- Security and abuse prevention: such as rate limiting and spam blocking.
- Legal obligations: such as keeping accounting and tax records, and responding to lawful requests from competent authorities.
- Electronic marketing: we only send marketing messages after obtaining your consent, and every message identifies us and includes an easy way to unsubscribe, as the law requires for direct electronic marketing.
5. Sharing data with others
We share data only as needed to run the website and deliver the service, with providers bound by confidentiality and data protection:
- Hosting and content delivery: Hostinger, which hosts and runs the website.
- Database: Neon, which stores requests and first-party analytics data.
- Email: Resend, which sends new-request notifications to our team.
- Keyword data: DataForSEO, which receives only the keyword you search for, not your personal data.
- Authorities: where required by law, court order or a lawful request from a competent Egyptian authority.
6. Transfers outside Egypt
Some data may be stored or processed on servers of the providers above outside Egypt. We only transfer data abroad in line with the cross-border transfer rules of the Personal Data Protection Law and its Executive Regulations, including ensuring a level of protection no lower than that required in Egypt and obtaining any licence or permit required from the Personal Data Protection Center, or with your explicit consent where the law allows.
7. How long we keep data
We keep data no longer than needed for its purpose:
- Consultation and contact requests: up to 24 months from our last contact, unless you become a client or ask us to delete it sooner.
- Client and invoice data: for the duration of the contract, then for the period required by Egyptian accounting and tax laws.
- Security and rate-limit records: deleted automatically within about 24 hours.
- First-party analytics: used in aggregate; data linked to a visitor ID is deleted once no longer needed.
8. Protecting your data
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss and unauthorised access, change or disclosure, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), protected admin accounts, not storing raw IP addresses, and logging admin actions.
If a personal data breach occurs, we notify the Personal Data Protection Center within 72 hours of becoming aware of it, and notify you within the period set by law where the breach affects your data, describing the measures taken.
9. Your rights under the law
Egypt's Personal Data Protection Law gives you the following rights over your data:
- To know what personal data we hold about you, access it and obtain a copy.
- To withdraw your prior consent to processing at any time, without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal.
- To correct, amend, complete or update your data.
- To have your data erased or blocked, unless a legal obligation requires us to keep it.
- To limit processing to a specific scope, and to object to processing or its results where it conflicts with your fundamental rights and freedoms.
- To be informed of any breach affecting your personal data.
- To file a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Center if you believe your data was processed unlawfully.
10. How to exercise your rights
To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@moseo01.com with the email or phone number you used with us so we can verify your identity. We respond within the period set by the law and its Executive Regulations, free of charge where the law does not permit a fee.
11. Cookies and browser storage
The website uses limited browser storage to run the site and measure visits internally. Full details are in our Cookie Policy.
12. Children
The website and services are intended for businesses and professionals, not for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect children's data, and we delete it promptly if we find any.
13. External links
The website may link to other sites or platforms (such as LinkedIn or WhatsApp). We are not responsible for their privacy practices and recommend reviewing their policies.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our processing changes or the law changes. The last-updated date appears at the top of the page, and material changes will be announced clearly on the website.
15. Contact us
For any question about your personal data or this policy, contact our data protection officer at hello@moseo01.com or via the contact page.
